Renuka Rathnahewage - Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Rathnahewage is a Finalist of the Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. A Member of Certified Professional Managers, an Associate Management Accountant of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. Life Member of Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka. She is currently reading for a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting at the ICA. She worked in the capacity of Finance and Administration Manager for 07 years and General Manager for one year at People’s Rural Development Association (PRDA) .
Nihal Kandanaarachchi - Head of Operations
Mr. Kandanaarachchi is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka. He has 34 years experience in Banking of which 22 years in Senior Managerial positions. His knowledge in Retail Banking and Credit gained at People’s Bank and Nations Trust Bank has been instrumental in promoting the Micro Credit activities of Sewa Finance.
N. M. Ariyarathne - Deputy Head of Operations
Mr. Ariyaratne holds a Diploma in Management. He started his career as a Credit Officer in National Development Trust Fund. Then he served in the private sector for 4 years. In 2002 he joined Sewalanka Foundation and worked as a District Director before joining Sewa Finance. He acts as the main focal point for all the District Credit Managers and drives the day to day loan activities.
S.Umasuthan- Operations manager
S.Umasuthan holds Master of Business Administration degree of Buckinghamshire New University, United Kingdom. He also has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing & Preliminary certificate in Marketing of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. In addition, he is an Ordinary member of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and has Practicing marketer status. Having ten years executive experience in marketing, insurance, educational publications & hardware items in private sector. He supervises and coordinates loan activities in North & East branches of Sewa Finance.
Ms Sandamali Dias - Accountant
Ms. Sandamali Dias is a passed Finalist of Part I of the Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. She worked in the capacity of an Accountant in Safety Systems Ltd for around 1 1/2 years. She also worked for M/s Kiruparatnam & Co. as an Audit Trainee for 1 year. Her role is to ensure all financial transactions are carried out accurately and report on the cashflow of the company.
H.G. Kularuwan – Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (Microfinance)
Ruwan has lived in Bangladesh working with some MFIs for over a year. He has extensive knowledge of field operations, staff incentives, and internal audit functions. He has recently joined Sewa and will likely strengthen Sewa Finance through his experienced inputs.
